Frühstück im Kleinen Schwarzen

‘A good day starts with a good breakfast’ is one of Ralph’s maxims.
‘Almost everything we serve comes from the organic food store around the corner.’ Bettina presents me with my breakfast.
‘And the coffee is Italian quality,’ says Ralph. He presses the cappuccino button on the Italian machine bearing the glorious name:
La San Marco 100S. Bettina lifts her head from today’s newspaper as if she were gazing out over the Piazza San Marco in Venice.
‘And how about special wishes?’ I ask.
‘Sure, if you give us advance warning,’ replies Ralph. ‘Gluten-free rolls or soya milk, for example.’

Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7.00 to 10.00 am.
On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8.15 to 10.30 am.
