Das kleine Schwarze lies very centrally in one of the most popular of Hamburg’s city districts: Eimsbüttel. I once lived just around the corner myself. So I know how easy it is to get into the city, to the Messe and the airport from here. There are good restaurants, hip places to eat and drink, interesting little shops – all just a short walk away. Two underground stations (U2 line) are close by and offer direct connections to Jungfernstieg, Hauptbahnhof and Messe.

On foot
Walking distance to U2 station Emilienstraße is only approx. 400 m
Journey time to main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) 9 minutes
Journey time to Jungfernstieg 7 minutes
Journey time to trade fair centre (Messe) 4 minutes

By car
To the city centre 4.9 km
To the Messe 2.8 km
To the CCH 3.9 km
To Hafencity / Elbphilharmonie 5 km
From the airport 8 km (journey time only around 15 minutes)
From the motorway 2.8 km

> For the satnav: Hamburg, Tornquiststraße 25
